PORSCHE MUSTER 2015 RACE TO ULURU
Story
After last years Race Across the Nullabor to stop cancer, which raised over $3000 for cancer research, we are setting out on an even bigger challenge....a national Porsche Muster where drivers race from wherever they are based to Uluru and race against their fundraising team target of $1 per kilometre.
The race plan that we are using in our car involves covering 8570 kilometres in 10 days. The track takes us from Perth through Carnarvon, Port Headland, Broome, Kununurra, Katherine, Alice Springs, Uluru, Port Augusta, Broken Hill, Newcastle and finally to Sydney. This trip will take us into even more isolated locations than last year in a 25 year old classic.
We set off from Perth on October 1st 2015 and plan to be in Uluru on October 7th for the fundraising finale. From Uluru we head to South Australia and back through NSW to the East Coast arriving back on October 10th 2015. If you are interested in joining us, go to our facebook page and contact us.
Since last years event, like many people, I have had a number of close friends and family personally impacted by this disease in its many guises and it is for these people, the people that I love, that I am motivated to take action to try and help fund vital research into finding a cure for cancer.
